If you intend to take part in the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town next spring, there are some very important dates for your diary! The general entry dates for 2016 have been released, and if you intend to run the world’s most beautiful marathon, here’s what you need to know…
Two Oceans Ultra Marathon Entries 2016
2016 entries will open on Wednesday 21st October 2015, and will remain open until all 11,000 places have been secured. While the Ultra Marathon doesn’t sell out as quickly as the Half Marathon, you need to be quick if you are to guarantee your place, so take a day off work, pull or sickie, or tell your boss you’ll be in late that day – just make sure your online!
Two Oceans Marathon Half Marathon Entries 2016
Entries for the Two Oceans Half Marathon sold out in record time in 2014, with all 16,000 entries snapped up in just a few hours. So if you intend to run 21km on Saturday 26th March 2016, make sure you are online on 4th November 2015 (Blue / Yellow Number Holders), 11th November 2015 (Club Runners), or 14th November 2015 for General Entries.
Two Oceans Trail Runs 10km and 22km
If you prefer trail to tarmac terrain, put 26th November 2015 in your diary. The Two Oceans Trail Run entries will open this day, but there are only 1000 places available in total, and they will be snapped up before you can say Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon 2016!
